Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are the posts made from?

All earring posts, hooks, and hoops are surgical-grade steel. When noted, they’re plated in silver or gold.

Do you use resin in your jewelry?

Sometimes but usually I use a varnish called DuraClear which is a polyurethane and less likely to create an allergic reaction for someone with sensitive ears and skin.

Will the posts on my stud earrings come loose?

The posts are glued on with a very strong glue or embedded into the clay to prevent them from coming loose.

How should I care for my earrings?

  • Remove before showering, swimming, or entering water.

  • If they do get wet, gently dry with a soft cloth.

  • Store them in a jewelry box or bag when not in use.

  • Use a polishing cloth for gold-plated findings when needed.

Is polymer clay fragile?

Once cured, polymer clay is flexible but strong. However, it’s best not to bend or twist the pieces excessively.

Are clay earrings heavy?

Not at all! One of the best things about clay earrings is how lightweight they are. Even the largest pairs weigh only about 5 grams.

When will my order ship?

Orders are typically shipped within 1–2 business days, unless otherwise noted in an announcement on the homepage.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, I only ship within the United States.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are a flat $5.00 fee. Orders over $50 ship free automatically.

What is your return policy?

All earrings are final sale. If your order arrives damaged or broken, please reach out and I’ll make it right.
